I would say that I am not really a denim person and that I rarely wear any. I know most people think I am crazy because they basically live in a great pair of jeans!  So I decided that I wanted to incorporate more denim into my wardrobe and make it my style which usually means making it more dressy.  I picked up this cropped floral print denim jacket a while ago but I haven't worn it much at all so I challenged myself to find the perfect outfit to style it with.  I could have worn it with just a plain pair of capris or a little mini skirt but that would be boring and pretty predictable.  Why not wear it with a chiffon maxi skirt I thought, it's feminine, it's delicate and best of all the look is pretty unique! I added the flower crown for some added sweetness!

I love the denim/chiffon combo! Really, that jacket is so pretty and delicate that it doesn't even look like denim. Was that skirt a recent Forever 21 purchase? If so, I may need to head over there and buy it, because it's lovely!

Hey Stacey! Yes I got this skirt about 2 weeks ago at Forever 21. It should still be in the store! There are a few other options there that are pink chiffon maxi skirts but this one is fuller and a little lighter.

The maxi is elegant and combining it with a very cute looking floral denim jacket is a unique idea. The accessories are going well with the outfit. I Love this vintage meets bohemian look. Not everyone can carry off this look ! { The sunglasses are adorable } keep it up !
